Rural life in the heart of East Lothian

Welcome to Kilduff Farm

Kilduff Farm is a working arable farm located in a secluded location in the heart of East Lothian between the towns of North Berwick and Haddington. With spectacular views south to the Lammermuir Hills and north to the Firth of Forth, Kilduff Farm sits less than a mile outside the village of Athelstaneford. This pretty conservation village is the birthplace of Scotland’s national flag, the St. Andrew’s Cross or Saltire. We are located three miles north east of Haddington and six miles south of North Berwick.

In addition to growing traditional crops of wheat, oats and beans, here at Kilduff you will find pumpkin picking, a luxury self-catering holiday home, residential properties, storage options and filming and shoot locations.

Homemade and Made With Love

20th Dec

It has been another rollercoaster of a week. More unsettling, and perhaps unexpected, news this weekend has turned our lives upside down. Again. Today I retreated to the place I always feel calm and in control and started to get ready for Christmas day, in whatever form it takes. It’s only 5 sleeps away after … Continued

26th Nov

Today marks another celebration for many of our friends and their families which they may not be able to mark in the same way as they had imagined this time last year. Thanksgiving is a time to gather with loved ones around the table and feast. For many this will not be possible and empty … Continued

Happy Halloween!

29th Oct

Halloween is to take on a different guise this year but that won’t stop us from being creative in the lead up to the 31st of October. After all, we have learned and excelled at becoming creative “pivoters” during these last few months. Although disappointing that we can’t take our wee ones guising this weekend, … Continued

Signing off for a while...
Day 5 of the new year and we’re in another lockdown. Not where any of us want to be (especially in the depths of winter in Scotland) and certainly the 5 of us are all feeling topsy turvy again. The prospect of virtual school and missing family, friends and ‘normal’ life dreadfully is hitting us all hard.
While these little squares have the ability to provide a whole heap of support and a link to the outside world, my relationship with my phone and social media has got a little bit out of whack over the last wee while. These little people need the best version of me to help them through the next few weeks so I’m going ‘cold turkey’ and stepping away for a wee while!
So, stay safe and good luck. Above all, be kind to yourselves. The light is most definitely at the end of the tunnel, we just need to keep going. Sending love, Lx
